Went to court today on Raz's attack. The owner of the Dane has been ordered to confine his dog to the backyard and to walk him at his own risk. Thing is, the judge never mentioned him giving the man a fine. Hm.

The owner gave us a check to pay for all the vet bills, which is what we wanted, that and making sure this Dane doesn't hurt anybody else. ( Read more... )

Raz is doing better, thank god. Yesterday afternoon, Raz finally managed to get up and we got him down off the bed. His walking is really stiff, and he puts hardly any weight on his right forearm ((the Dane bit him under said arm, right in the fatty tissue and into the muscle...we're hoping there's no permanent damage.)) but at least he got up.
